Gender Neutral Shared Kid's Room We have been discussing combining our three kids into one room for awhile! Our five year old boy is very attached to our two year old boy-girl twins. Thankfully he was completely on board! In our three bedroom home, both the kid's rooms are small! We also have regular family and friend visitors. There were so many pros to combining our kids, including having a designated space for guest that could also function as a playroom. Making three beds fit in the larger of our spare rooms and functional was definitely an uncertainty but a month in and everyone's doing really well! My husband built our older son a lofted bed by building the frame and attaching it via 2x4s into the studs of the wall. He used a pipe to anchor the end of the bed because of the position of the closet we could not anchor it to the other wall. We made the bed larger than the size of a twin bed so he could have some space up there for his
